How to Establish a Login Account
CAPS Research permits sponsors to access the full contents of both our public web site and Knowledge Central knowledgebase using a single login account. If you are an employee of a sponsoring company, simply register to create an account profile. Be sure to use your business email address and answer 'Yes' to question about being a current major sponsor of CAPS Research. You will then be sent an email with further instructions. In most cases, this process takes only a few minutes.
My Organization Currently Sponsors CAPS Research*
- If you have previously registered, used your business email address, and you log in, but still do not have full access to Knowledge Central, you may need to update your profile and answer 'Yes' to the question about being a current major sponsor of CAPS Research (even if you had answered Yes to this question when you originally registered). Click here
to update your profile.
- If you have joined a new company since you last registered, please create a new account profile so we can properly identify that you are a member of a CAPS Research sponsoring company.
- To create a new account, register by clicking here
, or click on the Log In link above and then click on the Register link.
Remember, when registering:
- Use your business email address.
- Complete your profile and answer 'Yes' to question about being a current major sponsor of CAPS Research.
- Follow the instructions we send to you via email once your account registration is successfully completed.

Having Trouble Logging In?
- Passwords are case-sensitive. Check your Caps Lock key.
- If you have forgotten your password, click Log In or the Log In link above. Then choose the Forgot Password option, and follow the directions to obtain a new password (we cannot recover your old password).
- Perhaps you are trying to use your KMS.2 credentials previously issued to sponsors. This username/password is not valid for Knowledge Central.
- In some cases, if you try to access Knowledge Central through a proxy server in your workplace, you may experience difficulties logging in. One workaround is to request your IT administrator to configure the proxy server to allow domains ending in .capsresearch.org to bypass the proxy server (i.e., not serve those pages from the cache). Another workaround is to access our site from a computer outside your workplace.
- If your organization uses load balancing to route your web requests to the internet (check with your IT department), you may need to have your IT department configure a dedicated route to both our CAPS Research public web site and our Knowledge Central web site. Please contact us for details at the email address below.

Can't Find Document Links on the Resource Information Pages
- You are not logged in. Click on Log In link.
- You are logged in but do not have sponsor access. See section above for steps required to gain sponsor access.
- You attempt to log in, but Knowledge Central still displays the Log In link. See previous section for workarounds.
Not a Sponsor...
You may still create an account profile and log in, but if your company is not currently a CAPS Research major sponsor, you will not be granted access to view the repository of original documents. However, some documents may be available to view on our public website at www.capsresearch.org
