Generating Data for Informed Decision-Making

Innovation is essential for organizations aiming to stay competitive in today’s fast-paced market. However, it presents a fundamental dilemma: despite access to vast amounts of information from various sources, many managers find themselves navigating an uncertain landscape where the right data for strategic and tactical decisions is often lacking.

As a result, decision-making often relies on experience, intuition, and assumptions - approaches that usually fall short. Complicating this issue is the fact that ground-breaking ideas frequently challenge established experiences, assumptions, or conventional wisdom.

What You Will Learn

Join us for an engaging session with presenter Mahyar Eftekhar, who will demonstrate the transformative power of experimentation and how managers can implement simple yet impactful experiments to enhance their decision-making process.

Leading companies such as Booking.com, IBM, BBC, Nike, and Walmart have adopted the philosophy that “everything is a test,” leveraging experimentation to avoid costly mistakes and refine their strategies.

Attendees will gain valuable insights from these successful examples, emphasizing experimentation as a vital tool for innovation and informed decision-making. Additionally, he will share insights from recent experiments conducted with his team aimed at developing a simple, low-cost, and practical solution to address pressing societal issues.
