Of the companies we surveyed, the majority are utilizing descriptive analytics, which includes the use of dashboards for exploration into KPIs to better understand performance. However, only 4% are diving into more mature levels of analysis including prescriptive analytics (which is used to predict outcomes) and automation (which runs complex hypothetical models to improve performance).
